Don’t miss EP3 of our new series ‘The Classic’ - this Sunday at 3pm on @newstalkfm. From producer @shane_hannon01 and series producer Eoin Brennan, this is the story of @kendoherty1989 and his incredible @worldsnookerofficial triumph. 🏆
Between 1969 and 1972 twelve American men walked on the surface on the Moon - only four are still alive. I had met six of them over the past decade but the last living Apollo moonwalker I had yet to meet was geologist and former US Senator for New Mexico, Dr Harrison ‘Jack’ Schmitt. So I flew to the US with @mick.hannon.3 and made it to the small mid-west town of Mitchell, Indiana to interview him - an incredible experience to hear first-hand accounts from someone who has been on the lunar surface. Also visited the boyhood home of Apollo 1 astronaut Gus Grissom - sat down with his brother Lowell Grissom in the home in which he was born. #GalacticGathering
Great night at the @imroradioawards last night in Kilkenny. Few gongs for @offtheball and @newstalkfm to top it all off! 🏆📸🍻 #imro19
A year for every mile in a marathon 🕺🏼🏃🏼‍♂️ 2️⃣6️⃣ 🎂 Loved the cake 👨🏻‍🚒🚒 #FiremanSam 🔥
It’s difficult to put the last 8 days into words, but what an incredible and rewarding experience it was climbing to Uhuru Peak on Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa and tallest free-standing mountain in the world, with these lads. Summit night was tough but we made it (and so did the 🇮🇪 flag and Monaghan jersey). 🔵 Thanks to everyone @enosaexpeditions ⛰ #Kilimanjaro #Kili #UhuruPeak #5895m
